The rod making machine is the main equipment for making rod-shaped solid fuel by using wood, rice husk, peanut shell, plant straw and other carbon-containing woody materials (without any additives) under high pressure and high temperature conditions.
The machine adopts an automatic constant temperature device, which has stable working performance at the set temperature, and has the advantages of reasonable structure, simple operation and maintenance, etc. The solid bar material formed by this machine is easy to ignite after carbonization, has high calorific value (more than 20% higher than ordinary wood), less pollutants, and has a large specificity for easy storage and transportation. It can make full use of crop residues and achieve transformation Turning waste into wealth can alleviate the shortage of energy in agriculture and forestry.
The briquette making machine utilizes various types of raw materials like sawdust, crop straws (corn stalk, soybean stalk, sorghum stalk, cotton stalk, rape stalk, peanut seedling, sunflower stalk), rice husk, grass, shrub branch, bamboo and wood truncation, material head, and sugarcane slag. These materials are first pulverized by a sawdust crusher.
Afterward, a high-temperature and high-pressure zone is generated by the screw propeller with the help of the heating ring. The outcome of this process is a hollow rod with great structural strength and longevity.
Furthermore, the product enjoys a number of impressive benefits. It's small in size, has a high density, and is highly flammable – it can easily replace wood and coal. Generally, the product is cylindrical in shape with a 50 mm external diameter and 15-20 mm hole diameter. The shape of the product could be square or hexagonal.

The wooden sticks produced by the stick making machine are denser and can be used to fire boilers.
However, these wooden sticks can also be transformed to charcoal if people wish to broaden their range of applications.
This transformation process, also known as carbonization, requires the addition of a carbonization furnace or an earthen kiln.
Generally, charcoal is more costly than wooden sticks. Hence, if the material used is sawdust or branches, it is recommended to make charcoal. While for other materials such as straw or sundries, it is suggested to make wooden sticks as they have different usage.
Ultimately, the decision on whether or not to make charcoal or wooden sticks relies on the raw materials and uses of the customer.
